Opening Ceremony of Fraunhofer IVV(Germany) branch in Korea

The Korea National Food Cluster, Signboard Hanging Ceremony of Fraunhofer IVV Research Institute Branch

 

 

The Korea National Food Cluster held an opening ceremony for the branch of Fraunhofer IVV research institute in Korea, one of Germany’s four major research institutes, on the 19th.

The Fraunhofer IVV research institute will be located at the packaging center within The Korea National Food Cluster, and will provide the latest food-related technology support such as food packaging technology to domestic food companies.

 

 

Fraunhofer of Germany (FhG, Fraunhoer Gesellschaft) is a global research institute, Germany government-funded, which has 75 individual laboratories and about 20,000 research groups. Among them, the Fraunhofer IVV (Institut Verfahrenstecnik und Verpackung) specializes in food packaging development.

Agency for Korea National Food Cluster and Fraunhofer IVV plan to explore research and develop projects in cooperation with Korea and Germany, and continue their research activities.
